Re: Hood & fender emblems

Just finishing reading through and have to say that this is a great thread!

Also have a question about the 63 and 64 fender badges. Are the mounting studs in the same place between the two? Basically asking if I could put a 63 badge on a 64 fender without having to drill any extra holes?

Re: Hood & fender emblems

Factory jet on my dad's 61 GMC. He bought this truck new in 61. I fixed it up 35 years ago. It's on my list of projects after I finish the 67 GMC and 69 3/4 ton 4x4.

The mounting points are in different locations.

Great addition to the thread and glad the truck is still in the family. Its great to have that kind of history.

Well that's unfortunate. Whenever I get the chance to find some fenders I'll have to drill new holes. Should probably put the engine back in first though
