Ever wanted to roadrace your truck?

www.nasaproracing.com <-- check this out...it looks VERY cool...

I just read the article on it in Car & Driver...they're much more open to vehicles / participants than SCCA, and because of their rule system, you can get track time with other cars on-track without having to install a roll cage / fire system / etc in their HPDE class...

Let's put it this way. In one session that C&D mentioned, Vipers were sharing the track with Suburbans.

I just hope there's one of these in Phoenix. Even if I don't take my truck out, I'd love to do some hotlaps at Firebird or PIR in the Benz or the Camaro...

damn, this sounds pretty damn cool, i'd like to take my 69 when i get it done, i'd like to take my S-10 Super Sport. I'd always wondered how I could compare in competition.

Here I come in my 72 also !

Well I am all for the idea of us all here in Phx getting these guys to let us on track with our trucks
I live in central Phx and would love the idea of seeing all kinds of 67-72s flying around the track!
Cool link and thanks for the heads up,

Yeah, a Phoenix track day would be great...I think it'd be an excellent way to send off my Radial T/As...

I also think it'd be interesting to see who's got the best truck / skills on a roadcourse around here. Probably not me, because I'm not a terribly great driver and because my truck is down on power compared to a lot of the ones I see.

I'd especially love to see Rick's '72 with the 542 do some hotlaps, or maybe one of NSANE68's rides.
