Last night you were asking bout my longhorn grill...here's a couple shotes. I know they are kinda big, I did that intentionally...better detail.

A 2500lb mazda going "30 mph" hit his 5500lb truck when he was delivering pizza's,i would have whooped the sh!t out of the mazda owner,but thats just me,RIP to the longhorn,im sure andy will have more details..

That is the one I am always refering to...the first longhorn. A '70 CST/20 Longhorn, 350/TH350.
As stated, I was delivering pizzas, and this lady who claimed to be doing 30, (estimated 70) slammed into me. I was cited for failure to yeild.

It's depressing to see the pics of your longhorn... did you sell the bed to someone who could use it on thier truck? or did it go to the scrapper?

1986 K5, 350/465/208 Dana 60/14 bolt from a cucv 36" Super Swampers TSL/SX
1983 K20 w/ CUCV axles, 350/700R4/208 sitting on 37" Goodyears
1986 M1031 6.2 diesel, TH400/NP205 locker in the rear and a LS in the front, all stock for now.....
1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone.
1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.

1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

I think I'll pass, but I'll still keep a lookout for a GMC grill. I'll still keep it in mind if i cant fin da better one.

Ouch on your old longhorn grill... Mine looked about like it before smacking a datsun @ 30mph..... (I got lucky and just had to replace the fender and bumper) Pic attached is with the new bumper on, hadn't installed the fender yet.

Yeah, I got really lucky on my truck, impact point was about 1/2" from hitting the frame, the frame is tweaked up front slightly, but I can adjust the bumper enough its not noticeable...
