4l60E Versus 700R4 Installation

Got a chance to pick up a wrecked 1993 4x4 Burb pretty cheap. I thought it would have the 700r4 trans seeing its a 93 but being a late in the model year build its got the 4l60E. realizing there is computer stuff to deal and having the whole Burb for parts has anyone installed a 4l60E in our trucks and if so how much hard or easier is it to install than a non-computerized 700R4.

It needs a computer.

93 and 94 the tcc was not pulse width modulated.

I have no idea if it can be retrofitted into other drivelines.

Thanks for the response. If it would work I was planning on using the computer off the wrecked Burb but it sounds like it wouldn't work even with the computer from the Burb. I guess I'll just keep looking for 700R4.
