Exclamation wiper motor

I need to replace my wiper motor, but I cannot figure out how to get the vent cowl off. I have a '90 'burban. Any help is appreciated.

Re: wiper motor

It had 4 bolts on front and in back it has 5 nipples that push into holes in rear cowl if it is same as 86 truck.

Re: wiper motor

I also have a 90 suburban, but you can replace the wiper motor with out removing the cowl. I know because I just removed one from a 89 out in the junk yard with out taking the cowl off.

Re: wiper motor

yes, you should not have to remove anything other than the wiper linkage/transmission that connects to the motor. I've done this several times, just use the access hole above the motor on the cowl.
