Back up light assembly

Does anyone know if any vendors sell the back up light assembly? The metal part that screws into body and that the bulb goes into? Can't seem to find it.

Re: Back up light assembly

Last time I looked, there were no reproduction units being sold.

I had to scrounge for good used ones that weren't corroded in the bulb socket.

Re: Back up light assembly

I was able to save mine with a little elbow grease and a Dremel tool. As long as the corrosion is just on the surfaces, a couple wire wheel attachments for the Dremel and a little time make things work like new! After you clean the sockets, put on a thin coat of bulb grease or dialectric grease. This will keep corrosion out, and make for a better contact surface for the bulb.

My apologies, I get this thread mixed up with the pick up thread on occasion.

Happy Holidays and good luck with your search
