Yes, it did work. It was a little rusty, probably needs a good grease job. But went up and down fine, I never tried any weight on it though.

Everything is restorable right, just depends on how much money and time you have. LOL.
The bed was well used, top has dents in it and sides are bowed. It would take right much to reuse this bed.

I'll go with solution B. It's so simple,even a cave truck man can do it. A message board is about reading. People need to read more before posting.
