Taillight wiring ** HELP***

Recently had some lighting issues and upon investigation the wires from tail light housings to the rear plug were hacked and in a lot of areas uncoated wire. To fix this asap so I can drive it I cut out the hack job and stripped wires. Passenger works perfect. Drivers side is the issue, Running lights work but when brakes applied light goes out (drivers only), also turn signal doesn't work and when passengers signal turned on drivers bulb goes out.... Has to be something stupid but I'm stumped right now.

I looked up wiring diagram, Yellow to Yellow and Brown to Brown connected, There was also a brown wire with yellow line i connected that to brown swell

Any help is greatly appreciated
