Re: Mother Of God

Makes you wonder if they'd get out of the throttle a bit if they would be able to get some traction to climb a bit better. Fun to watch but . . .

My thoughts too. I dig the rides, but bonkin the noggin against a roll cage would leave a nice mark.

Re: Mother Of God

Just stupid................Acting like that around here would get your a$$ kicked real quick.

Slow down and let some air out of them tires and stop messing up the trees and stuff.

It's films like this that they use when trying to shut down our trails and back country roads.

Re: Mother Of God

I kept thinking of Ed 209 from the movie Robocop that looked awesome but couldnt go down stairs.

Those machines looked like they put a lot of thought into the design of the suspension and frame, but not the tires.

My 1968 burb k20 pulling a trailer in 4 low in first gear would climb those bumps of dirt and rocks and it wouldn't even hit a grand on the tach doin it.

Re: Mother Of God

Tim is always good for a show and puts out some bad a$$ rigs, but that style of driving does give the rest of us crawlers a bad name. The majority of us go out to have a good time and enjoy the technical, sometimes stupid climbs at a slow pace. When you can't crawl it, then bump it, but don't screw up the trail for the rest of us with your full throttle runs. I do have to snicker a little though at the helmet and eye protection comment. To each their own.

Re: Mother Of God

This is EXACTLY why the rest of us get a bad rap, and why they think that every trail in the country needs to be shut down.

Re: Mother Of God

I think the guy in the red buggy was getting a little frustrated from rolling a few times. That would be an adrenaline rush. And while I agree that this gives us crawlers a bad name if on public land, these guys were on private property, (at least thats what it says in the captions on the bottom of the screen) so its there perogative.

odog is correct, and I didn't bother to scroll down a bit to see the comment that this was on private property. So, it's all good. What one does on their property is their business.

Though the liability of injury, due to no melon and eye protection is a whole other thing for sure.
