sway bar for '72 k1500

Has anyone tried using the factory front swaybar from a 73-87 on a 67-72? Are the spring perches the same width? Does the passenger side spring mount to the pumpkin the same on both series of trucks? Would there be an issue with the frame attachment points?

Do a search, its been done and someone had good pics. I think you just swap the u bolt supports and front crossmember.
