Mystery plug from 4L60
Hey guys. While man handling my engine /trans into my truck a plug fell on the ground. I have not been able to find where it came from. My best guess is it is from the transmission and it installs nipple in. Anyone have any ideas? My luck I will start this thing and will have a transmission fluid shower. Thanks

Re: Mystery plug from 4L60
Looks like a pcv that fits into the valve cover of the engine. Just a guess but maybe a forum expert may add their experience. Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV). Sucks all the crankcase fumes back into the intake manifold.
