Hey everyone finally got axle put back together and new tires mounted
Ended up going to the summit racing store near stockbridge,ga for the kit.
Ordered the tires off simple tire and got them mounted at Walmart.
☹️☹️☹️ now for the bad it has a 350, th350 14 bolt rear, 10 bolt front🤔 4.10 gears. Took it out for a drive today shifts rough into each gear and the brakes I might as well put my foot on the ground flinstones style. And hopefully an exhaust leak only, has a nasty ticking. Plenty of power though. No choke on carb why I have no idea this is getting fixed for sure. Transfer case leaks like hell so is next up.

Did you fill those spider gears full of bubble gum or did you buy it that way? That might be a hand full in the snow since I see you are from NY.

Someone had welded it up that way, got it all put together with a new set from
Summit racing. Works perfect now. UNforntunetly the whole truck has stuff like that here and there on it. The carb has no choke hooked up on it has a quadrajet carb supposedly it doesn't have a mount for the carb cable or something like that. Going to have to get a new carb or something. The whole truck is like that
Where it's just random parts thrown on it😩😩😩😩

Re: 86 k10

Get an electric choke. if you're set on a mechanical choke you can buy a generic mechanical choke cable from the parts store. The cable mount gets attached under a valve cover bolt. Clean the hell out of the carb. Those quadrajets like to be cleaned regularly and they usually work pretty well.
