Re: 1972 chevy c30 mitchell motorhome

I'm probably going to be trading the 396 from my 66 c10 for it next week. I'll post up pics if we do the deal.

Not a tornado, just an average West Texas wind of 50-60 mph.

I'm sure you asked all the appropriate questions of the seller...I called him a couple of weeks ago and talked to him about the C30 motorhome. It was a factory air big block. The big block has been replaced with a small block and the factory air is not operable anymore....don't know exactly what that means...also, the bucket seats are not the original factory seats, those are long gone. Motorhome also needs roof work since it's got some water damage. Sounded like too much work to me...but good luck if you make the deal.... Mitchell campers and motorhomes are VERY well built.

Re: 1972 chevy c30 mitchell motorhome

Yeah, I have a ton of pics and I'll be pulling the roof off this winter. It's modded enough that I won't feel bad converting it to 4x4.

Re: 1972 chevy c30 mitchell motorhome

Probably, gonna be picking it up next week, I'll post up pics when I do. Once I have it I'll start acquiring the parts for the conversion. It may take me awhile with our limited funds, the roof will come first.
