1 ton 73 to 69 c10 front suspension swap

sorry for the dumb question just apologizing ahead of time.. theres a fellow here in cali, selling a front suspension from a 1 ton chevy truck 8 lugs, I was wondering if I can use it on my 69 c10.. if it does fit, will only have to change the rotors to a 6 lug?

No. None of that stuff is compatible. If you are really lacking in what to get, just order a kit from somebody that has what you need. Early Classic Enterprise is great to work with.

If you are flat a$$ busted and have to use junkyard parts, try the search button as some of these questions have been asked over and over for the almost 20 years I've been around.

Mike c thank you so much for answering my question. I see why the fellow selling those parts cant get rid of them. I couldnt personally go and see the parts myself but as soon as he said it was a 1 ton truck my doubts kicked in. I was supose to see the parts tomorrow but i will now cancel that trip. Thanks again

Re: 1 ton 73 to 69 c10 front suspension swap

If you want to lower it, it still may be cheaper (and easier!) to get an ECE kit. I'm king of the parts truck but on my '69 I bought the ECE disc conversion kit with the 2 1/2" drop spindles, and 2" springs. My truck a leaf spring truck so I did a DJM flip kit on the rear which I am pleased as punch with. Net result was a 4 1/2" drop in the front, 7" in the rear. No C-notch.
