Drop member help!!!!!!

Drop member help!

Yes I left a message at pb but I was kinda hoping to get some help today so I don't have to wait another week till I have a day off to work on it

Thanks !

Like it says I need some help with my drop member. I'm trying to install the upper control arms and I'm having two issues.

First off the threaded shaft for the upper control arm seems to be super tight The nuts only want to thread on about 4 to 5 Threads before becoming so unbearably tight it's almost impossible to tighten them anymore . I tried spraying them with some brake clean and lightly cleaning them with a nylon brush to clear any metal flakes out-of-the-way already. It does not appear to be cross threaded at all but just extremely tight to the point words over 150 pounds of torque to turn the nut!

The second issue is I think I may have gotten the wrong mounting hardware for them altogether it lists on the sheet that the Bolts are 3 inches long however there is not nearly enough space for that

Re: Drop member help!!!!!!

Did you go to Dave's Hardware on Ray and Rural and get the right threaded nuts?

Re: Drop member help!!!!!!

Well stupid me forgot that that is where they put the shims when they do the alignment. Therefore the 3 inch bolts are necessary to both the upper control arm in.

The shafts were taken care of by Nate at Porterville got to say the customer service is just the best I've ever had!!!!

And they have some really cool **** coming out. That I got to take a look at
