Sell it or part it out

Well need some advice. I picked up that 86 C-20 camper special on Staurday. My buddy drove it from Orlando to Alma, Ga with no issue. It has what seems to be a rebuilt 454, turbo 400, power windows, power locks, a/c all there but needs a belt. Cab in nice shape, fenders decent with some small rust areas(bubbling), the drivers door is a little bent where it caught on the fender at one time.. The bed is fair with a "patched" dent over the back wheel well. Newer American racing slotted 16" wheels with new 265/75/16 tires. WHEW...ANYWAYS i have it for sale for $1900.Is that too much and if so would i be better parting it out? I really hate to.

Re: Sell it or part it out

$1900 is a good price imo. If you part it out, you'll have pieces of truck laying all over your yard for God know's how long. Personally, I'd keep it and fix it up, if that's an option.

Bring it up to us in the rust belt we'd love it for that price.

Re: Sell it or part it out

^ yeah, what he said. What's wrong with having parts all over the place? For that matter, projects sitting around?

Screw finishing, starting projects is where the fun is!!!

Re: Sell it or part it out

Seems like a great price to me. Wish you were closer to MN. Too much hassle to try and get it from there to here. Good luck with a sale, though!

Re: Sell it or part it out

Seems like a deal @ 1600. The motor/trans should be worth 1000-1200 I think.

If you do decide to part it PM me with your thread please. I would be interested in some smaller stuff like the radiator shroud, panel that holds it in, and the 4 little rubber pads.
