This is for sale and I am thinking about buying it. Don't know much about the blazers but have had several 67-72 chevy pickups. I think this blazer is in excellent condition but not sure what it is worth. Seems like a great deal to me but thought I would see what you guys think.

Looks like an unpainted original? I'd say 12K if the engine bay is original / not hacked.

I'd check under the carpet if I could. May be hiding some rust.

They are the original seats, but not sure what the condition is. I will definitely check everywhere for rust. I am asking because I don't want to pay to much and not be able to get back out of it if I need to.

Howdy Prescott neighbor....

I've never seen that one running around, but if it's from the area here and been here all it's life I'd suspect it to be a solid piece.

Looks like a presentable truck but like pictures always do,,,they only tell half the tail. You'd have to go over that thing in person and decide what you want to pay. If you are forcing me to guess then in the neighborhood of what Leevon said is a good starting point. $12k probably isn't out of the question if it's rust free.

As others have said, look for the hidden problems. Look under the rocker boxes and in the corner of the door/a pillar area. Those are the problem areas. Any price under $10k would probably be a great deal (i would personally not pay that much for a 4wd though). I'd prefer to spend the money on a rarer 2wd.

2WD's obviously do bring more money as they are a little more scarce, but when I think blazer I think 4x4 (gotta have something to off road and get through the snow here

) When I think 2wd I think,,,,,,car,,,,,and I have enough of those.

When i think of Arizona i think of HOT (not snow)...perfect for cruising...i get jealous when i see your summer temps compared to ours...

NICE looking blazer. If rust free windshield frame,floor, undercarriage and front clip (rad support, fenders) ...and it's what you want....I agree 10-12K would be worth it. I'd never pay that much personally but if you don't want to do rust repair and want buckets and 4wd you won't find many nicer than this if it's as nice as the pictures appear...

The po of the 71 blazer I restored found his for 4500 in Colorado...almost rust free but poor paintwork. He did a frame off and starting with such a nice truck makes it nicer...so my point is...if you're going to do a frame off...look for a cheaper start.

If you're going to run with the current paint...and it's exactly what you want...then it's worth what you're willing to pay.

On a side note, what is that body colored step on the pass side? That is a pretty funky mod.

Yeah, I believe that to be added. The lap belts from the door jamb area aren't that long originally, and the buckles holding the belts together aren't the factory style for a blazer of this vintage. Notice the buckles in the back seat are the factory style buckles however.

That shoulder belt would never hold either,,,it's just screwed into fiberglass,,,and I wouldn't care to test that

It's why GM never put shoulder belts in these things. Nothing solid to fasten them to.

I thought the same thing till we got snowed in at Williams Arizona !

Yep, depends on the elevation you're at. People forget Arizona is full of mountains. It's the valley that see's the 110+ summer temps. Get up to 5,000 feet where I'm at and we have 4 very mild seasons and very little snow (2-4" that's gone by noon because the winter temps are in the 50's here during the daytime) But you get up to 7,000 feet or more and they can get several feet of snow. Definately need a 4x4 to get around, in some cases they won't let you pass without chains.

I didn't buy it. It is nice but not as nice as it appears in the pics. It is in Prescott. It has been repainted several years ago. It is the original color and the current paint is in ok condition. There are spots that it is starting to peel and it is slightly oxidized especially on the hood. The interior has had a mild restore about 5 years ago the seats recovered, new carpet, steering wheel, side panels. The under carriage is all original in decent condition, but if you want to drive it alot it would need some work. Engine is supposedly a GM crate motor that was put in 2006. Engine is dirty and is blue instead of orange but seems to run good. Has a cobbled together dual exhaust that was poorly installed. Body has very little rust, but it does have some rust starting at the base of the kick panels, and the floor in the same area. Factory A/C works but needs some work to be fully functional. Weather stripping is missing on passenger side window and looks like the top of the rear hatch door has been leaking.

Price is firm at 10,500.
