I saw it and loved the spanking it put on the import! The winning farm truck got to remove the funky rear spoiler off the import as a wall trophy. Way cool.

Re: Who saw the Farm Truck on the new Street Outlaws Show?

Farmtruck is the only REAL street racer out of the group. Just because you're racing on a street, don't make you a street racer. Farmtruck is the only one out there driving the streets, actually out racing people. It's not sitting in a garage until race day. I lost sight of street racing when my Camaro stop getting driven and set rubber on a trailer. Had to get rid of it after that. Farmtruck is a daily driver, that's fast as hell. They even drove it to go get pizza. BTW, I LOVE the license plate on it since it's a sleeper.

I've always been a street racer with my cars, and was never really got into the whole truck racing thing, but after watching farmtruck the thought is there.

I've got a stroked LS laying in my buddies garage, could toss it in the C20 with a couple turbos and I'd be ready to run. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of my build though.

i agree, the farm truck is the only real "street car" on the show. the rest are $100,000 race cars with liceanse plates. cool show.

Farm truck is no sleeper. That thing sounds like an 8sec car from a mile away, you'd have to be some kind of mental to think whatever you were driving on the street that nite might be quicker than that old farm truck.

Still very cool, but no sleeper.

I'm in the process of my build, I did the exhaust first. Right now I have 3" exhaust running through flowmasters, powered by a 350 with a 2 barrel, I can almost get to freeway speeds within a few miles. I use my truck to haul tires and fuel to the track for my drag car. You have NO idea how many people ask what it ran. There are LOADS of vehicles out there that sound fast, but are far from it, hell I saw about a dozen imports today that fit that.

Yup, I've seen lots of 305 powered 80's Monte Carlos and early 90's pickups with Flowmasters that sound really bad ass, but can barely move.

Re: Who saw the Farm Truck on the new Street Outlaws Show?

The show is garbage.

They are all snivelling about not hookin' up on street pavement with 1,000 hp engines and dot radials. Well... DUH!

Even the concept of the show is garbage.

Re: Who saw the Farm Truck on the new Street Outlaws Show?

Ya all these guys have all this money to build these cars and they can't scrape together some farm property and pave a 1/4 mile strip to race on? The show is obviously fake as hell but its still entertaining. I agree the farm truck is the only street car on the list. Murder-nova is NOT a street car by any means. Lets see him take that 2000hp car to the supermarket or drive around all night like farm truck.

Re: Who saw the Farm Truck on the new Street Outlaws Show?

Yeah, trailered cars with chutes and sanctioned class designations stickered on the windows are not "street cars".

I agree that Farm truck is the only real street car on there. Still, they ALL just need to take it to the track. If you've ever seen anybody killed street racing like some of us have, it's hard to watch..

Re: Who saw the Farm Truck on the new Street Outlaws Show?

I have always liked the Farm truck from the first time I saw it here in a Youtube post. It is a sleeper to a novis. I can't get past the bleeps. I don't know if anyone has spoken a complete sentence without a bleep. Annoying, and I can cuss with the best of 'em.

Re: Who saw the Farm Truck on the new Street Outlaws Show?

I think I seen it before the TV series started. Somebody sent me a video of that truck(99%sure it's the one)a few months back, at a drag strip, doing a test run. It ran a 10.28 at 128 mph. It hooked up unreal and came out of the hole with the left front wheel up about 30", and the right front about 24" and carried 'em a good 100'. Still got the video, can't figure out how to attach it, don't have a url for it. Somebody posted it while I was typing---that's the one.

If you listen closely they say street raced cars. The number one car on the list it making 2000 HP and there's a few videos on YouTube of him just cruising it around. Its licences and very much street legal. All these guys are for real and have been street racing for years. A lot of haters out there calling the show fake, what TV reality show isn't fake at some point?
