Body lift pros and cons?

I've ordered springs with a 2" lift and am wanting to go higher. I know that 2" is the max on the suspension, so I've started considering a body lift. What are the pros and cons of body lifts? How difficult are they to put on? Anyone with picks of their trucks maybe with just a body lift?

Why is two inches the max on the suspension? I had a 95 Ford with a four inch Rancho lift. The Con to it was that it cut all my power to nothing. The thing turned into a slug. The pro.....It looked cool? As far as a body lift, I haven't been a fan just because it makes the suspension so much more visible under the truck.

put a healthy body lift on your truck then go head on with a stock truck then watch as your truck costs twice as much to fix because the body shifted from the frame, thats a con , and it doesnt look as cool as susp lift , and you need to buy them spacer things to make it look right...
