Homemade push lock / socketless hose tool

Not many pictures of tools other than 250$ professional tool to install hose ends. This works for my hose and fittings.

Hose - aeroquip -6 socketless
Fittings - summit racing twist-tite

Harbor freight clamp
1 to 1.5" pipe
PVC tube, 2 thread caps - for 90* and 45*
14mm socket - for the strait ones
2x4
5/8 drill bit (-6 hose size)
Screws

The hose clamp was just a scrap piece of 2x4. Drilled a 5/8 hole length wise. Then i cut the wood length wise in the center so now the wood can be squeezed the hose. Last part is to get a chissle and force the block of wood to split apart so you can remove the holder once 2 fittings are installed. 2 screws on each end. Will be making a new one to incorporate wood tee nuts and 1/4 bolts so the wood doesn't get stripped from the smaller wood screws.

Pretty self explanatory on how it works and how to build one.

It can be made stronger by not welding the tube to the harbor freight clamp material and just making some flat bars connect the tube to the rail.
Or by using a pipe clamp setup... even more heavy duty
The clamp swivel part fits perfectly in the pvc cap.
