Ran into this 1954....Should I ?

HI all,

I am relatively new to the forum, I have a 1961 build going on over in the 60-67 thread. I have fell in love with these trucks, I cannot pick which year
I like the most, anyway to the point!
I have ran across a 1954 with the original 6 cyl and granny 4-speed, starter still in the floor, original paint, black truck, I have seen pictures of the truck, it is complete and can be driven, I will see it in person today. The only rust the owner has mentioned if one one side at the cab step, the interior is in poor condition, floor pans are great, the truck looks to be very solid with very minimum body/rust issues.
What would something like this be worth? I have no knowledge of these trucks, so what am I looking at to lower it, and make it a nice driving riding truck?

Thanks so much!

Do you have enough money to finish your current build, pick this up and then finish this truck?

I wouldn't start this until my 61 is finished. I have a 1965 442 that should fetch a decent penny that I will most likely sell just due to the fact that I am really liking the trucks! so in theory yes! LOL but I am interested in what this truck is worth and what all it would take to lower it properly and maintain good handling and ride!

The going rate in Cali is 4-6K. If it's really solid maybe even as high as 8. For something bone stock original. The prices for projects, rat rods and customs is all over the map.
