Mini hockey goalie stick template

Hey all! I have a laser etcher and am trying cut out a goalie stick from plexi-glass for the kids. Anybody have an out line picture of one or knows how to make one. I know there is a bunch of computer guru's on here.

Thanks!

Re: Mini hockey goalie stick template

For special projects like this I usually google the subject and vectorize an image. pretty easy with my software to turn an image into a CAD file, if you can find a high quality image.

67c10rustbuket, what software do you use to vectorize an image. I have tried several in the past with poor results. It has been a couple of years though.

I use FLOWpath. It is 2D CAD software that came with our Flow water jet. The images really need to be at least 1000x1000 pixels and two colors of high contrast for good results. Things like sports logos are easy. An actual picture is a nightmare of a billion segments and broken lines.http://www.flowwaterjet.com

Re: Mini hockey goalie stick template

Bummer, I was hoping someone had found one that actually worked. The billion segments and broken lines is what i kept running into too.

I'm sure there are high dollar solutions out there, I just want it to play around with though. Did the whole, Import a picture, and draw over the top of it to get outlines of my truck and a few others, but that is a PAIN...

Thanks for the info!
