What the best way to paint a 72 c10.
Paint each panel the put together are jam it then paint the hole truck |

Im a newbie myself to paint, so far I have been repairing each panel breaking down the entire truck as I go. As i finish a panel I epoxy primer and move onto the next one. The only problem with that I am finding is that if the epoxy primer sets up for too long I will have to scuff up the panel before applying another coat of paint so it adheres properly.

Is it a metallic color? If so, I would paint the jams first, then paint with all the panels on. If it's not a metallic color, then you could paint in parts.

After you shoot epoxy primer, shoot a couple coats of primer surfacer (sandable primer). You will want to block sand anyway.
