green and white or just green trucks

Hey all.
I have a 71 LWB that has the original green and white 2 tone. I am wanting to see some other trucks with a newer green. If I can find a good green white color scheme I wont have to redo the interior. What you guys got? Thanks

Re: green and white or just green trucks

Is yours Woodland Green(or listed as Dark Green),Medium Green(simular to Sea Foam),Dark Olive,or Medium Olive? All those colors look good when fresh.Woodland is the timeless forest green or hunter green that has also been a fleet color since the GM has made trucks. It`s the non-metallic.I ordered it on my`92.What color is your interior?

Woodland:

Medium:

Dark Olive:

Medium Olive:

They can look pretty bad when dulled out and faded.

I used to dislike green, but lately I've had a sweet spot for it. Here's a few more.

Re: green and white or just green trucks

Thanks for all the pictures. I have got a few more ideas now. I am trying to go with a paint scheme that will keep me from having to redo the interior. The interior is the original green and it is in perfect shape. I will need to post some pictures on here.

Cool Re: green and white or just green trucks

For me, I have had several GM vehicles with that old Olive Green.

That Olive Green for ...ME... has tooooo much gold and/or yellow in it to satisfy me.

I like the Olive Green, but...

I am searching for a darker Green with no metallic in it that can have an even deeper feel and look to it.

This Woodland Green, I am looking for the color mix codes and more looks of it!!!

Maybe I could play around with the base colors when mixing it???

Re: green and white or just green trucks

I see the Medium Olive mixes vary more than any other color.I see alot of repaints with too much silver or just metallic. It should be almost a candy apple when fresh.
The Woodland Green has a tint of yellow to it.Although it`s a dark green, like forest green,It has a brightness to it when kept up.IH and ford fleet greens weredarker w/less yellow. Here`s my`92 I ordered in Woodland Green, same as my`71 Blazer I showed w/white soft top:

Here`s a mid-90s GM green that came on Vettes and S10s,called Fairway Green. It`s between Medium and Dark Olive...

Don`t judge Medium Olive by it`s tarnished and faded state. It looks awesome fresh, especially BC/CC.

Ok...how about the pre "GREEN" look? Once my bed and cab are redone (in process) it will retain the factory tuo tone green. (Light olive/med. olive)

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=267527
The bed before it will be turned med olive green...

This is my truck before the body shop. I know she isn't very pretty right now but she is Green and she is in the bobdy shop for her very first make over. It's been 7 months and still have a ways to go.
