Any issues running a 2 inch block with a 4 inch drop spring? I am planning to move shocks as well? Thanks for the help

None that wouldn't exist from only running the blocks. That lowers your scrub point by the block size, but only the trailing arms. My friend/neighbor built this truck with 4" drop f & r and decided to level it out with 2" blocks

EDIT: Now that I think about it, this would be before the block when the bed was first installed. He also put Vette rallyes on with other tires, but no pictures. But it worked out fine for him. Only picture I have

I have 4" springs and a 1" block.... relocated short shocks & adj. panhard bar. Rides/drives pretty good. Picture is with worn 255/60's, replaced w/ 275/60's recently.

This is going to sound stupid -- but bear with me.

Lets say a 200lb man jumps on a 12ft diving board. Boing, splash, he's in the water. Can you imagine how much the 12ft board would flex ? ( Just in your mind )

Now, cut 2ft off the board. Same dude.. boing, splash ..

Did the diving board flex more or less at 12ft, vs 10ft ?

Coils work the same way. All it is is a straight piece of wire that has been coiled up to create torsional rigidity. So, for a better ride quality you need a softer spring, less rigid and longer travel, right? A shorter stiffer spring will impact your ride quality.

So, if I could make a suggestion, I'd do a 4" spring drop and 2" block yes, and you would have any problems with it. Just saying, dont do 6" drop springs (all springs) the 4 / 2 will ride a little better. Make real sure you adjust the pinion angle too or you'll be having driveline vibrations. 3 maybe 4 degree shims on top of your drop blocks, or CPP sells the drop blocks with the pinion adjustment already in them. you want to roll the nose of the pinion back up toward the bed floor. If you shim it, put the larger end toward the cab, smaller end toward the rear bumper.

I got 2" blocks with 5" Drop CPP springs. I did C-Notch the frame to increase clearance because I only had about 1" between rearend tube and frame. Truck rides great still.

Thanks, I have 2-1/2" dropped spindles and 2" CPP lowering springs up front.
