Chevyguy,
not trying to sound smart but search the board and you will find a wealth of info on this subject. The best thing(i think) to do is to by a new blazer tank. it will fit right where the spare tire use to be. Many of our vendors carry these for about 250 dollars. Good luck

THE BLAZER TANKS NECK IS BENT TO GO AROUND THE LEAF SPRINGS, YOU NEED A TANK OUT OF 67 - 72 BURBAN, GET THE STRAPS, TOO.

I DID THIS TO MY 70. I DID USED THE FILLER NECK FROM A BLAZER WELDED RIGHT INTO MY BEDSIDE, AND YOU HAVE TO EXTEND THE WIRE TO THE SENDING UNIT FOR THE GAUGE, AND REMOVE THE SPARE TIRE CARRIER.

EMAIL IF YOU NEED MORE NFO
