72 doors will have a dimple near the vent window and the window and door mechanics will need to tbe swapped out if you plan on using 67-71 door skins... otherwise if you want to use a whole working 72 door it will work.

Isn't that a screw?

There is an obscure differance between '67/'68 and '69-and-later doors. At the level of the upper trim on the inside of the lip around the edge of the door, there is a flattened spot to accomodate the tin nut holding the edge stud for the trim. On the earlier doors, that space was humped. Although can drill a hole and mount the trim piuece on the earlier doors, one must use a different nut or invert the stock tin one.

The ing vent handles are not the same on 67/68 doors...but the wing vent swaps out fairly easily though.

The 72 door dimple has a screw in it... it was used because the doors used to tendency to split a little near the vent window... so the screw just anchors the two halves of the door together to give it more strength...
and there are other differences,.. 67 doors are not recessed as much for the door handle... 67 window vent window chrome is different... yada yada... :p
