Tightening up doors, etc.

On the '69 Suburban C10, I've got new rubber, window seals, felts, & door bumpers, but doors still bang loudly. What exactly does one need to do body-wise to quiet them to a heavy *click*?
Inulate inside doors? Let a pro hammer them to better fit?

Are you still using the old hinges? They might be wore out.

Pull the interior all out of it and take it to be Rhino lined.I didn't but I did spray a coat of undercaot on the insides of the door.I also used a rubber material to make a liner(much like the plastic sheet originally installed). I also used a thin styrofoam type packing material and glued it to the door panels. It helped quiten things down a lot.I have a 68 so the metal door panels will never be quite but I managed to make them a lot easier to live with and I think I've got about $10.00-12.00 in it.

Randy suggested the hinges and I would take that a step further and check the striker alignment also.

If the previous owners ever removed the stock mirrors, there is a good chance the inner support plate is laying in the bottom of the doors and will clunk when you shut them...I have found them in several trucks

Make sure your doors are properly adjusted too. If the striker plate isn't set right, it can hit incorrectly and give a metal to metal bang sound. This plate also has shims to move it in or out. Sagged hinges can cause it too.
