Re: 70 Chevy short stepper build

I picked up all my chassis parts from the powder coat shop- they look nice, but no pix yet. While I was waiting I finished welding holes up in the frame rails and welded tabs on for the bulkhead fittings. The rails are ready for paint, so once that is done the chassis assembly will begin. Hopefully have time over the next 2 weeks.

Thanks! Makes me feel better, knowing I'm not the only one (tundra owner).

Making some progress. Here is a time lapse of the frame assembly. My first video in a long time, so a little amateurish, but a good subject none the less. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuePDj6MvDE

That's pretty cool.

I had borrowed my buddy's time lapse camera when I did my frame, but then at the last minute I decided not to use it.

Re: 70 Chevy short stepper build

Here are some pictures of the frame tabs and lines. The short- mid frame lines are the supply lines from the compressors to the manifold. The red dust is from the primer when I painted the outside of the frame. It is hardly noticeable looking at it, but it sure shows up in the pix.
