Z bar setup and pieces

If anyone can cite a former post/thread that clearly shows the way the clutch operating z bar setup goes in, with components, it would be very helpful. Also, any decent source for these smaller items. Thanks.

This is the best pic I have off the set up. It is on an inline 6 Engine but is basically the save for a v8

Re: Z bar setup and pieces

Thanks 68wannabe - good photo of the setup and it is appreciated. I should have been more specific about "pieces" in that I need to see the sequence of bolts/washers/nuts/etc. at both ends of the op rod. Looks like the PO of this 72 may have made some mods or maybe screwed something up in that regard, and I want to get it right. Can't find a complete diagram/blowup in any manual or parts catalogs. If anyone out there can even describe the components and sequnce, that would help. Thanks.

LMC has a pretty good blown up digram of how the parts all go together. I was just looking at it yesterday (for a 66), can't imagine it's that much different.
