Post wow i saw a 69 or 70 firebird today

is in a local small name repair shop, yellow and black, nice looking pontiac engine in it unknown CI, with roch Q jet. knew it was 69-up cuz of no vent wings and taillamps are dated 69, must be 69 actually, i think 70-up were the smaller ones

was first time ive ever been close enough to one to touch it, those things are bigger than they seem in pics, very wild... i dont like em, the front grille is fugly i think, loks like a GTO front, too damn much chrome up front, bulky crap.

when did they downsize ? i know of a restored gold firbird thats the smaller size, was it 70 that they downsized them and made them look like the second gen ? it has to be a 70-72 one, the guy drives it everyday all over and its always out in rain it rains alot here and snow and ice and stuff, the body wont last, same with the 68-72 cherry red restored 350 ss nova that has washington plates on it, apparently guy drove it all the way to here from way up there,. its 100% mint! magazine material for sure, I drooooool evereytime i go by it, its about 11 blocks away from here, i want to stop and ask about it when i see him out by it next time,. i hope its not here to stay or it wil be rusting before he knows it. its immaculate,.. never seen such a clean old ass car like that before. thats messed up.. at least a couple of first gen firebirds and a nova of any year are here now unlike before, but even though its not good for them at all to be here if they stay for too long
