Project Silver Streak begins!
 but I'm sure ya'll all know my brother 67 C-30. Since it seems like he and his buddy Uncle from Atlanta are trying to buy every 67-72 truck in the Southeast, I figured I'd better snag one before they are all gone. I got this truck from 67 and its a '70 SWB fleetside with a '72 grille. The 71-72 front end is my favorite so I plan on leaving it that way. Its a real solid old truck but it does need some better doors, but don't worry, I fully plan on raiding 67's mini-graveyard! Anyway, I planning on building a nice driver and I've always wanted one in bright silver with the side trim. I bought a low mileage 350 with a TH350 that we are going to drop in it this week and go ahead and get it rolling, then I'll start on the body and interior. Its already been dropped some, but I want it a little lower, especially in the rear. I'm decided on wheels, but I got a set of 6 lug rallies that are going on it to begin with. 67 told me that I had better post pics, so he sent me the only one he had. It is only a crappy picture phone pic the day we brought it home in the rain, but I'll get more. The last pic is the basic idea of what I'm going for with different wheels. That is a beautiful truck! |
