Velvet ride

Has anyone tried the Lord Velvet ride shackles? I've seen and read about them but never hear testimony about them. Their web site say will fit 73 and newer. Are they the same for '67-72?

I've installed dozens in customer's trucks. Mostly Furds.

They will lower the rear of the truck 1/2" to 1" because they are a little longer. The rear will also feel a little wiggly with loads in the bed.

Yes they work. The expansion cracks on a concrete freeway will dissapear.

You can get them at NAPA too.

The fit on your older truck should not be a Problem if you have leaf spring in the rear.
