Haha, I like the challenge though. Ya know what I mean. My actual plans are to do a motor swap with an LS2 or LS3. Just funding will take a while haha. I want a sleeper sooo bad...

We bounce ideas off of each other so much it's not even funny. We try to do something different to them since they are so much alike. Hence the dif type grilles, wheels, rack, badges, running boards, lol everything else...

Lord no! I honestly think dropping a 4x4 is the stupidest thing you can do. Especially when you live in NE TN. He lowered his but it is a 2wd.

Great looking TB's, my wife has an '05 4X4 in Pewter. We love the SUV, but I wish they would have had the SS TB when we bought this one.

Re: My Daily Driver

Finally got the pillar situation figured out. And the fogs in thanks to the constant berating of Luis and Tom. Here are some pics of the process for you guys to enjoy. I apologize in advance for the crap camera phone pics.

First step of course was to take off the bumper cover. And for those of you who have never done it, these four little plugs can and WILL bring blood :hissy::

Ready to cut and file:

And my switch, tried to get the OEM one to work the way I was doing it with the relay, but it needed a rocker trigger, go figure:

Final product done finally:

To be continued to the next post.

Re: My Daily Driver

Continued-

Ok so here is my favorite new pic with the fogs:

And of course, the nice new angle shot, gotta love the wetness and wheels :

Now on to the color matched D-pillars (C-pillars, lol). These things only took 5 times of painting. I am still going to baby them. But I love the look. I will get a couple daytime pictures tomorrow. Definitely improves the look of the truck.

Here is that process:

Now for the before:

And afters:

So hope you guys enjoyed that one. I have had the fogs done for almost a month now, just didn't want to let anyone know until I got the pillars done.
