Aim Headlights. Anyone Got A Haynes Manual Handy?

Howdy All,

I spend 95% of my time over in the 73-87 forum, but i will likely be in here a bit now with my 02 Sierra.

I tossed some new headlights and bulbs into it today and they are out of whack. Bad.

When I had a dodge I remember finding measurements in the haynes manual for aiming headlights.

X feet back from a wall

X feet from the ground to the center of the light beam

and X feet between the two

I have little use for a hanyes manual otherwise i'd go buy one, just curious if some one had one and could look up what i these measurements are for me

I could eye ball it... but then there is a reason i am not a carpenter or any sort of fabricator.

Much Appreciated,

Scott

Here's the diagram out of my Haynes manual. 25 ft back from wall, tape a line on the wall of the same height of the center of your headlamps from the ground. When you turn the lights on center the light with the tape.

No problem at all! I haven't been on this forum in a while since I sold my 84 () but have been on some other forums that are more for 99 and up trucks, and I must say this forums by far the best as far as getting a question answered the fastest, nice members, and awesome staff go!
