Dealership Advertising Post ?

Browsing thru the board just yesterday and came across a member's post having to do with posting pics of acquired dealership items. Showed a wooden yardstick, believe the yard stick was from Gilbertson Chevrolet in Wisconsin. Not sure of city, think it was Monroe? I have several items I've collected over the years and was going to post up some pics and now can not find that post. Have tried a search function using different terms with no luck. Any one recall reading or even posting to such a post? Can't believe I'm not having any luck finding it.

Re: Dealership Advertising Post ?

Yep, now that I started this guess will show what I have in the way of advertising items. Not a lot, but a decent start. Most prized of the items is the Yingling Chevrolet tag frame. Those are VERY hard to come by and pricey when you do find them. Bought that off of Ebay in 2011, came from San Francisco, Cal of all places. Key chains mostly acquired at swap meets or yard sales. Same with the yard sticks, couple from flea markets/antique shops. Yingling yard stick was a antique shop purchase. Included a couple beer openers from local actual gas stations from back when an attendant pumped your gas for you, checked your oil and tires AND washed the windshield all for a couple $$ worth of gas. How times have changed !!
