Thank you. I recently got it. Long tern Califonia truck, black plates. Supposedly belonged to a NASA engineer. Someone was clearly a great steward. Now it's my turn.
I've owned lots of cars and trucks, but I can't remember enjoying a vehicle as much as I do this one. Every time I drive it it's like a mini-vacation. I'm pretty new to this forum, but it was/is an invaluable resource, especially while I hunted for the right truck. Thanks to all! |

She's in fair shape needs some rocker work (michigan salt) and some mechanical upgrades currently has 4.45 gears and a top speed of 50-55 mph Planing a gear change, new trany and disk brakes |

Mine had 34,800 mile when I bought it, will hit 40,000 this weekend. I've had it 1 year. I talked with the guy that drove it for about 10 years and he said the mileage was accurate. Looking at and around the truck I believe it. Quote:

My new to me 1970 GMC C20. 75K original miles, original paint, etc.
Just had the radiator re-cored, and enjoying the truck. Of course it looks better in pictures than in person. Needs a good buffing. |

The '69 has the same gears! I put taller tires on it, so I can hit 65 on the highway. I do have all of those on my "down the road" list too!

Here is one of my K20's, I use this one for daily driving at times. Revives my 80's memories of 4 wheeling the hills during the day then cruising town at night.
