Th400 New or rebuild
Should I send it to the local shop for rebuild with some upgraded parts or buy a new one? The quote right now is $1250.00 to have me take it to them and get a rebuild with "upgrades" I'm assuming upgrades mean premium parts.
This will be used in my 71 with a 402, both the engine and trans are the originals. The engine will have mild work at some point (375HP) range. Anyone here in/near Sacramento, CA that can do the work or perhaps I can even ship to someone? Or purchase new from you? Let me know thank you!
