The all elusive paint work is the one thing that is the worst having to wait for. Its been more than 6 or 8 months now still no color. Hoping for pictures any day from Anthony.

Well it has been a long time to finally see some paint on her. almost 5 years. pictures are of the first color of the bed and front fenders. cab should be seeing some color in about a week.

Why is it so painful to get a truck painted. This is the worst part of restoration. Still waiting and waiting.

I feel for you, but if it makes you feel any better it took me about a year to get my truck all painted myself because of waiting for the right weather, do-overs, cut & buff - multiple times for some parts, etc. Plus, yours will end up having a whole lot better job! What they've done sure looks nice.

Well about 3 weeks ago I stopped by the paint shop and nobody showed up. I talked to the guy next door and told me they would not be in today they are moving house. so 2 weeks ago I stopped by on Saturday and his truck was out front as I pulled around Anothy go out of his truck We talked for about 30 minutes and we agreed on a goal to have the cab painted by Thursday last week and I would bring my frame to install the cab an bed. he contacted me and ask if we can change to this Friday and I said ok. So we will se if he fallows through and finish up the first color.

Friday was a good day the cab and hood are painted. I went up to Vacaville with frame and mounted the cab for the last time. now have to fix 1 blemish on the lower left rear corner of the cab install the bed fenders and prep for the 2nd color.

Yesterday the doors have been reinstalled and the bed is sitting on the frame still to be bolted down.

The 2nd color is 2017 Chevy color metalic orange that I have seen on Corvette.
