Parts find
Hey everyone. Thought I would share my recent parts find with you all. Simple Craigslist ad from someone that worked on these trucks 30 years ago. He decided it was time to unload everything he had left. I was interested in a few parts but ended up buying the whole works. Sold the '68 box that was made into a trailer before it left the sellers property.
No super stuff but still a pretty cool find. |

Re: Parts find
No picture. Will have to work on that.
Truck and 18' enclosed trailer were loaded up pretty good if that paints a mental picture for the time being. Also, I am in WI which really makes this good. |

Re: Parts find
Sorry. Not trying to break an rules. It is not my intention to sell anything here. I will most likely be selling some of it but will do so in the classifieds.
Nothing rare or hard to find for the most part but it is all in pretty good shape -especially being in WI. Some of the stuff I have cleaned up so far. |

Re: Parts find
Here's a question.
The sheet metal parts have tags on them that say: Tabco Made in the USA. They look a lot heavier that the stuff you can get now? Anyone know anything about them. New to this era of trucks so this may be a stupid question? ![]() ![]() |

Re: Parts find
TABCO has been a leader in manufacturing and distributing rust repair panels for over 35 years. With our precision steel forming dies and the latest in stamping equipment, we duplicate exactly the characteristics of the original auto body design. TABCO uses the same gauge steel used in the original parts to create a perfect match. Don’t settle for panels that only come close.
The coated steel used in TABCO parts saves time & effort during installation. You do not have to remove primer in the weld area before installation as with painted repair parts. Simply sand weld areas and install. Our AMERICAN-MADE steel provides superior paint adhesion and rust protection. https://tabcoparts.com/pickup-trucks.html

Re: Parts find
Couple questions.
Are these duct parts 67-72 parts? And I don't think these bumper guards are GM, who made them? They look pretty well made? |

Re: Parts find
Those bumper guards look to be GM. The 69-72 front guards on these trucks are very similar. I bought some NOS ones a while back that ended up being for a 71-72 Chevelle based on the bumper indents.

You know better than that. This isn't a for sale thread.
