Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Cool to see some more posts here! Sheetrock, moving and firewood, definitely what Chevy had in mind for these trucks. My daughter got me the barefoot gas & high/low beam foot pedals for Christmas, so we put those on and went to coffee, grocery & feed store. I could be wrong but the 350 felt a little more peppy than usual, I think that pedal may have added a little more horsepower...

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Drove out to my space, took some pictures of the stuff I have. I will have to get rid of some of this soon. The pics of the bed are the original for my truck. I think I am going to pull it off and start fixing it. The left side is pretty nice and the right sucks. I might have to give that cab that is on that truck away or maybe I could get something for it. It needs work but the rust isn't that bad. I would hate to scrap it. The 2nd is my rust free cab and doors. Just keeping that around for just in case. I also took a picture of my truck in front of the crappy building all my stuff is in.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Yesterday we took the truck to horseback lessons but she decide the pony needed some exercise. 40° in the barn, ice on the puddles out on the trails. Brrr, our blood is a little thinner out here, glad I fixed the truck heater last year!

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

I've put the old truck to work the last couple of days. Picked up the wood to build a storage bench for my wife yesterday, and today to pick up a gas fireplace for the living room. Sorry for the bad pics from the trip today. It sure is hard to beat that old dash at night. I love this old truck. Had to take it about 80 miles round trip to pick it up.

Wasn't today. Last weekend in fact. Took my son down to Hollister to try out the XR 80 that Santa brought for him. Here is before we left. Hey Paul, I gotta ask, what kinda wood are you hauling around there? Ill be getting about 3 full truckloads this next weekend. Close to 1 - 1/2 cords.

The cargo; '97 ATK 350DS (mine), 2004 CRF70 and 2002 XR80 (River's bikes).

Saw a cool '60 on the way home. We almost ran into each other while gawking and giving each other thumbs ups. Was wondering if he was a member here.

Not really sure what the wood is as it has been stored in barns for at least the last 10 years, think it is a combination of ash, willow and oak. Good news is it is free and burns.

Look forward to seeing another member using their truck to haul wood other than me!

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Drove mine to the dentist appointment first thing this morning then around town all day taking care of little errands. Had some kids in a mustang take a picture of the truck going down the road. A day in the old truck is a good day. Even if you have to go to the dentist lol.

Where the heck is Fallbrook? I wanna be there this weekend! Looks like great weather. Its rainy and overcast here. My dog won't get out from in front of the fireplace! Way to keep em tied off right. I see a lot of people tie dogs off wrong or even not at all.

It was a nice day here in SD North County, looks like tomorrow its going to be even better! Although my dogs have no desire to jump out of a moving vehicle I'd hate to have them accidentally fall. So better safe than sorry! Here's a shot of my paint booth/wife's parking spot since I hog up all the garage space.

Ahhh, San Diego area. Went there for my 2nd oldest daughter's softball tournament a few years back. That area is awesome. Much like where I live but better! Coronado Beach was Killar! Cool paint booth too! Want one of those.

Good looking trucks! I'm envious of you Cali guys, it has finally turned cold over here. Hard to get motivated to do much. I like seeing pics of the trucks out and about.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Lugged 2 truck loads of fire wood across town. Thought it was going to be more and be a bunch of oak as well. Turned out to be Plum and Cherry which is a couple of new woods to me. They seem to burn fine and are a nice way to end a day working in the rain!

Glad to see somebody else posting up pictures of Wood! Cherry burns nicely and smells good.

Woody is currently tucked up nice and dry in my garage as the roads are salted so my contributions to this thread might tail off but good to see others showing what they do with their truck.

All these pictures of sun makes me feel like I should move!!
