Panel truck gas cap

I have a 65 C10 panel and I have 2 Questions for the panel truck guys:

1. Do you have a vented gas cap?
2. Does anybody make the fuel hose to run from the filler neck to the tank?

Re: Panel truck gas cap

The Suburban is exactly the same as a Panel.

1) Yes I do believe I have a vented gas cap on my '66 Suburban.
2) The hose is just a straight piece of fuel filler hose for both the filler tube and the vent. The filler tube has the necessary bends in it.

Re: Panel truck gas cap

My 65 suburban has a vented gas cap.
I just replaced the filler hose, its 1 3/8 inch inner diameter, 4 inches long.
a well supplied parts place should have some, its also available online but i found you had to buy a foot.

Thanks guys, my I thought it was the case. My panel has a standard cap and it kept "burping" fuel after a drive. I figured it was over pressurizing the tank, so I drove it the other day in semi-locked and no fuel leaks.

I have to replace the filler hose, mine has a severe kink in it. When filling I have to stop every half gallon, so it doesn't overflow.
