Great looking truck! What size wheel and tire combo are you running?

Too me, this vehicle does not truly look the part of a classic vehicle that is not sitting right. The tires themselves are still fully visible in the wheel well and carry a stock look.

If I were to do my 3/4 ton lower that is what I would wish it to look like. I do use mine for work and play so I will bump up the front to level it as I have added Hellwig Helper Springs to carry more in back... When I first acquired the vehicle the back had the standard stance with the leaf springs.

I have a 69 LWB BB out in the shed.

Every time I see Sampson it fires me up to get it out and running.

Re: How about some pics of lowered long beds

Figured Id show the one I have been working on. Its supposedly a McGaugheys 3.5"/ 5" kit but its more like 5/7 for some reason, but I'm not changing it. Its actually lower now because it was sitting on bump stops in these pics. tire size is 235/75

Re: How about some pics of lowered long beds

I know its an angle thing when taking a pic, but its just so weird that some of these trucks look amazing lowered, and some look much longer than a standard long bed (kinda of too long). Not talking about longhorns either.

Thanks! 17" steelies, 8" wide up front, 9" in the back. Both 5" back-space. 255/60/17 up front and 275/60/17 out back. They fill up the wheel wells perfectly without rubbing

I think Long beds look awesome. I know the ride better too. I got both with the same shocks and all. LWB just rides so smooth.
