4l80E Tranny pan?

will this 4l80E oil pan with drain work with my 2004 4l80E its listed as fitting older 4l80E transmissions, It has a drain and a different shape to the bottom. does anybody know if the oil capacity is large then the stock pan I have now? The discontinued part# 8685921 they selling new old stock ones on eBay I figure if they come with a drain, and are larger fluid capacity it would be worth the money

Re: 4l80E Tranny pan?

I would suggest you ask the person that is selling the pan your questions, this way they can satisfy you on your questions to enable you to pull the trigger to buy.

2007 was the last year for the 4L80E in trucks. It was used in G series vans and Isuzu NPR trucks up to 2009.

The pan is the same from 97-09.

Your factory pan should have a drain plug in it.

GM says the capacity is the same for early pans and later pans.
