Re: Need help center bore wheels

From what I understand most modern wheels are not hub centric meaning the lug nuts center the wheel not the hub so the bore on the new wheels might be bigger than your hub. I would measure your hubs and ask where ever you are buying them from what the center bore is or tell them what you have so they can give you options.

They do make hub centering rings.

Re: Need help center bore wheels

I've used hub centering rings BUT I believe they only are for nut-centric wheels. Because they are plastic, they only serve any purpose while you're in the process of setting up the wheel and bolting it up.

It certainly can't -ride- on the ring because, as I said, it's made of plastic. So if the wheel actually relies on the hub for centering after it's bolted up, I think you need to check with the wheel manufacturer to be sure...

Re: Need help center bore wheels

The 8 lug rims available in the aftermarket or the OEM's for that matter up until '98 with Ford and Until 2010 with GM should fit. Dodge will work until 2010 as well I think and maybe to present. Not sure if they have finally succomed to the metric pattern phenomena or not.
