Been sending it with full line pressure and the same fluid that was in it when i got the trans, no issues yet thankfully. Got the truck pulled apart for vortec heads, bigger cam, torker 2 intake, and headers right now. The full manual with max line pressure makes for a fun cruise.

Re: "The Convict"

Fired it up with the new top end. Got a set of roller tip rockers as well. The headers I ordered did not fit, oh well. Broke the cam in and re-adjusted valves. Tuned the carb but haven't got the timing dead set yet. Sounds healthy and feels more torquey then it use too. I'll have to get a video up soon.

Re: "The Convict"

Been driving it when I can, I found that the intake is not sealed correctly. Didn't figure it would as it is a gen 4 intake on gen 6 heads. Time to order an intake manifold. I also have anew daily driver, 1986 Chevrolet c20, 350 4 speed truck.

Re: "The Convict"

I eventually pulled the big block and went ls with a holley terminator. Shortly after I sold the truck because I wanted something I could enjoy instead of always wanting to do something else to it. I have had a few ride since then. 07 classic crew cab, stock, lifted, then lowered, three mustang GTs, and now have a one owner '99 gmc yukon that i saved from a field with 147k miles. Was a spare vehicle from 09-18 and sat from 2018 until a few months when I bought it. Fired it up and drove it home. It is my daily.
