Window wiring diagram 89 4x4
I'm sorting out a non-op passenger window and would like to power up the the leads straight into the motor. I'm trying to avoid tearing it open if the motor is working okay. I'm not even sure I can do it this way....just turning rocks over right now. Figure if I can see the wiring on paper I'll know.

Re: Window wiring diagram 89 4x4
I have power into the offending door so I was able to test the motor and the leads to it. Worked fine. Looks like its switches, grounds or wiring over to the other door. Nice it wasn't the motor. I'd have never figured that out w/o the wiring diagrams. Thanks again. Book marking that link you sent!

Re: Window wiring diagram 89 4x4
I used two new know working switches (China cheapies) and now I can operate the passenger window from driver side but nothing on the passenger side. Will confirm that I put wiring back correctly. I do have power12v to the passenger side.

update...I had brown and tan switched. Rearranged them and both are working! Schematics were invaluable. Thanks again.
