Yeah, I'd leave the lip.

I'm just thinking about the fake business on the doors and the whole chrome wheels not going with the theme.

I'd like to see it when it's done, too... Not like I mind seeing it now, though.

Not sure Keith, I assume that there is nothing that can be done besides replacing the bedsides altogether.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

Went back to the shop yesterday while I was in the area and I was excited to see all of the progress. The thing is I forgot my camera so I took some shots with my phone. They actually came out pretty good.

Earl and I were talking on the phone a little while ago about that. I've been wanting to go with the Hot Rod Flatz Black, but when I went to their site I saw the Flatz Red and it got me thinking

Go with some color! Everyone does satin black. I really like their metallics- maybe a green or blue if you're feelin' froggy...

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

I know everyone does, but I like it. I saw a 47-54 that had the flat red on it at a cruise in a few weeks ago. It looked awesome. Could still do the black Line-X and that would look pretty cool. Of course I have tan seats not sure how that would look.

If you ever plan on selling it I wouldn't Line-X it. I think that most people would shy away from anything with line-x on the inside. But if you like it and are not worried about ever selling it, do it.

Yeah, but not sure how the tan cloth seats will look with the flat red and black line-x.

Can't you get the line-x tinted? Would look pretty cool if the line-x on the inside matched the red or even the tan. If you can't do it with the brand line-x, I know you can with some of the other ones. I think t-rex linings can be tinted. Might be worth looking into.

The progress is coming along good. Nice to see it getting done. Why did you decide to sell your truck?
