230 valve cover

I have a 1949 GMC that has a Chevrolet 230 installed. Is there a Valve cover with a GMC logo on it for these engines?

Re: 230 valve cover

Not that I know of as far as stamped in the tin ones. But wait a minute here! A bit of a search found this page and it might mean that you can find what you want by hunting though the mid 70's GMC trucks in the wrecking yard if this isn't just artistic license by the add guys.

Re: 230 valve cover

Thinking about that you might wander over to the 73/84 board and ask if the straight Six valve covers for some of those years have an embossed GMC logo in them.
