Truck run rough? Change the u-joints!

This may seem obvious, but I just had to post how much better my truck rides with new u-joints. Wow, what a difference... I always thought it was a combination of the 33s, 205, sm465 and stiff springs that made it rough at speed. Now it's pretty nice at 65mph.

Still a truck, of course...

Drive shaft? or front axle?
I am assuming that you are refering to the rear drive shaft and that you had a vibration of some kind...
But be aware that if the front axle joints get stiff on you, replacing them will make a huge difference in the way it drives too.

BTW, this is how it rides or drives......not how it runs.

I was referring to the rear shaft, but I'm sold on doing the fronts, as well. The vibration in the rear shaft got bad enough it felt like the clutch going out... lol.

Good point ont runs vs rides. I changed it in the body of the post, but can't change the title.
